Far and Tall Tales is the creative partnership of R.J. Knutson and Aaron Schoenrock in collaboration with many talented writers and actors based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

Scary, Pretty, Sad: Our mantra here at Far and Tall Tales. We seek to create character focused audio drama content that produces a full spectrum of emotions and engages a wide range of human experiences while telling compelling, engaging and chilling stories of fantasy and horror. As storytellers we feel it is our job to be as inclusive and caring as possible, while also challenging the listener with the darker sides of the human experience.

R.J. Knutson (he/him) is a lifelong storyteller and spooky person whose writings focus on the fantastical, the humorous and the deeply upsetting. The creator of the Could’ve Been Heroes and Ghost Wax podcasts, an aspiring game designer and a creator of myriad scary things.

Aaron Schoenrock (he/him) is a lifelong producer and facilitator of artistic endeavors. An enjoyer of spooky things and people, Aaron enjoys all of Robbie’s sad, scary stories and has become adept at bringing them to life.

Sarah Lineberry (she/her) is a self-described scaredy cat who once screamed during a crowded showing of “Happy Feet.” Apparently being afraid of everything is actually quite useful when it comes to writing creepy stories. Sarah has a background in social work and enjoys using horror and fantasy to explore what it means to be human.

Stephanie Olson (she/her) is a writer, horror movie enthusiast (especially the terrible ones), and Halloween-all-year person. She loves character driven stories that are fueled by emotion, and always keeping readers guessing what will happen next.

Brian Watson-Jones (he/him) is a writer and actor based in the Twin Cities. He is a long-time collaborator with The Haunted Basement, widely considered Minnesota's most psychologically brutal Haunt, and is currently the actor trainer. His writing (mostly Shakespearean remixes, plus some Klingon holiday celebration) has been performed from Australia to Prague, with a half-dozen North American cities mixed in. His acting resume has a lot of Shakespearean comic characters, a decent amount of stage combat, and he originated the role of Vred in "A Klingon Christmas Carol". He comes from a family of engineers, doctors, zookeepers; scientists of all types. And now he's writing horror. Life is delightfully random.
